Chemistry Tutoring
As brothers in Alpha Chi Sigma, we look to further the objects of the fraternity and through educating those in chemistry helps to reinforce our goal of increasing education in the chemical sciences.
Lab Safety Training
While not offered by the chapter, we go through Kansas State University's EHS department to learn how to use chemicals and the appropriate storage, use, and disposal of these reagents. Use the following Link for more info on how to become safety trained! Required by all who work outreach shows.
Free Social Events
Alpha Chi Sigma being a fraternity, focuses on the experience of it's members. Beta Rho is in a unique position to offer free social events, decided by its members and for its members.
Outreach Shows
Looking to wow the crowd? Enlist the brothers in beta rho to come to a school or event to host a chemical demo show. We create a lineup of experiments to teach the basics of the worlds greatest science and you get a show that is sure to inspire.
Chemistry Merit Badge
Every year, the boy scouts host a badge super event at K-State and Beta Rho has stood by to provide the facilities to encourage the knowledge needed to earn the Chemistry Merit Badge.
Hands on Experience
Looking to get your hands wet with some reagents? The Beta Rho chapter is lucky to have access to a laboratory fit with hundreds of chemicals to practice and hone your skills in chemistry. Looking to make up a lab or uncover a nagging curiosity? Beta Rho could be your ticket to intellectual freedom.
